ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
LEVEL CROSSING FATALITY.
CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Mr Daniel Sinclair, a railway servant, aged 49, wa s killed, and his son. John Galloway Sinclair, . aged 25, was severely injured through the motorcar they were riding being run into by the South express to-night at Cutler’s Road crossing, between Middleton and Addington. The deceased was a noted clarionet player. Later. John Galloway Sinclair, aged 25, died in the hospital at 4 a.m. as the result of injuries sustained in a collision between a car and a train, in which his father, Daniel Sinclair, was killed instantly.
BODY FOUND IN HARBOUR,
AUCKLAND, Tuesday
A body, found in the harbour, has been identified as Robert Begg, a widower, who was lately residing in lodgings at Auckland.
DEATH FROM POISONING.
DUNEDIN, Tuesday
Tasman Henderson, aged 22 years, was discovered on a vacant plot of ground near the Art Gallery about midnight, seemingly suffering from strychnine poison. He was admitted to the hospital, and succumbed. It is understood deceased belonged to Christchurch. \
