HILLSIDE DRAINAGE BOARD. \TOTICE is hereby given that it is the • r ' i intention of the Hillside Drainage Board, at a meeting to be held in the Board’s Office,"in the Waikato County Council Chamber-s, Hamilton East, on SATURDAY, December 2nd, 1922, toMAKE and LEVY, under Sections 31 to 33 of “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and its amendments, and Sections 48 to 55 of "The Rating Act, 1908,’’ and its amendments, a GENERAL RATE on a graduated scale, according to the classification of lands in the Hillside Drainage District, as follows: —Upon lands classified A, seven-eighths ol' a penny; B, one halfpenny, each per pound on the rateable capital value of all rateable property shown on the Valuation Roll of the aforesaid district for the year ending 31st March, 1923, to he PAYABLE in one sum toHhe Collector (T. B. Insoll) on the 4Hi December, 1922, at the Board’s Office, Hamilton East, where the Valuation 801 lis open for inspection during office hours. The period for rating is from Ist April, 1922, to 31st March, 1923. That in terms of Scclion 28 of “The Rating Amendment Act, 1910,” an additional 10 per cent will be added to all rales unpaid at the expiration of six months and fourteen clays from the demand thereof.
