Sir,— Kindly allow me space in your valued columns to ventilate a grievance over a little matter at the Hamilton Lake which, now that the swimming season is almost with us again, demands.-immediate attention. The ladies’ 'dressing accommodation at the Lake consists of three extremely small sheds, which apparently were designed to- cater for the needs of bathers'when Hamilton had a population ol',-two or three thousand. But now that the population lias grown''to such an extent, and the popularity of the Lake : as a bathing resort lias increased proportionately, it is surely time that something, was done to bring the size of Ihe dressing sheds up to requirements. Further, the floors of the sheds, being without grating, are nothing short of disgraceful. Mud and slush and woe betide the dresses that might fall on to llie slimy floor. Hoping that those responsible —I presume it is Hie Domain Board —will give the matter th c attention it dojcrves, and thus enable the crowds of girls who enjoy the pleasure of a dip to conduct their dressing operations with a little bit of comfort. —I ano; etc.,
