LONDON MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and MercanCompany, Ltd., Hamilton, have received the following cablegram from their London House, under date 30th August:— Tallow.—W e quote present spot values for the following descriptions: Fine mutton, 41s 3d per cwt; good beef, 38s 9d per cwt; mixed, 34s 6d. Market quiet. New Zealand Frozen Meat. —Lamb, 10J per lb; mutton, wether and maiden ewe, light 6 5-8 d per lb, heavy 5 5-8 d per lb; ewe,.light 4 7-8 d per lb, heavy 4 5-8 d per lb; market firm. Beef; Ox hinds, 4 5-8 d per lb, fores 3d per lb; cow, hinds 3J'd per lb, fores 2icl per lb. BRADFORD WOOL MARKET. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, August 31. At the Bradford wool sales merinos and One crossbreds were very firm, but lower sorts dragged a little as business users are awaiting the opening of the London sales. Sixty-fours realised 52d, fifty-sixes 30d, fifties 21d and forty-sixes 14Jd.
