THE WEATHER.
The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:—• • Barometer: Saturday 30.05 Monday 30.05 Thermometer: Friday 66 32 Saturday .... 60 29 Saturday and Sunday were fair and bright, with light southerly winds, and slight frosts in the early mornings. Mean temperature 44.5 degrees. Barometer steady at 30.05. Indications are for fair weather today and probably to-morrow'; when it will become overcast. Winds variable, later from a northerly direction. . The Weather Bureau wires: The indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds and with a southerly tendency. Tne weather will probably prove squally and changeable, with scattered rain soon. Barometer unsteady.
