THREE STARS AT “THE ROYAL.” An attractive three-stars bill embracing two superior dramatic features and a strong comedy, should cause Saturday’s crush to become denser tjian ever this evening. To overtake the demand a special attendant will be at the Theatre from 2 p.jn, until 7 p.rn. to reserve seats. Douglas McLean, the smartest young star in filmland, will introduce Paramount’s brilliant special, “One a Minute,” a breezy drama packed with good things. Priscilla Dean and Herbert Rawiinson, both pronounced favourites, will ' electrify patrons in Universal’s electric play, “Kiss or Kill,” and popular Harry Sweet will unloose much film fun in “Stealin’ Home,” the screening of which will be embellished with music effects by Claude Smith of the Royal Orchestra. Seats must be reserved over ’phono 15S0 before 7 p.m.

At the Strand Theatre this evening Marguerite Clark will appear for the last time in “Scrambled Wives.” The story is a fascinating one, and holds interest from start to finish. Snooky, the Human Monkey, appears in a clever comedy, and the last episode of “The Adventures of Tarzan” will ho screened in addition to the latest Gazelles. The programme is an excellent one, and should not be missed.

It tolls a grand story that abounds in interest and affords Marion Davies opportunities to shine lo advantage. The list of added atInclions includes a very funny comedy in two reels, one of the finest (ravel series ever shown here, an up-10-dafo copy of Selznick’s Nows, and a smart International Pictorial. Monday’s boom programme will include Buck Jones in “Bar Nothing,” and Shirley Mason in “Queenie."
