Sir, —In yffur issue of May 11 there is a report of, a Farmers’ Union meeting at Taupiri, in which I am reported to have stated that the County Party would support the present administration. As this may give rise to some misapprehension, permit me to say that our main object is to unite the farmers of all political creeds on a common platform and we will pledge ourselves to no existing party.—l am, etc., A.
