CHURCH SERVICES

At the Church of Christ on Sunday evening Pastor J. Foster's subject will be "Christ's Visit to a Surrounding Home." Rev. H. G. Hercus will conduct the service in the Baptist Church to-mor-row morning, and in the King's Theatre in the evening. The subject of the evening address will be "A Woman to be Remembered." In St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Claudelands, to-morrow morning, the quarterly communion service will be held. In the evening th/ service will be in the main a choral one. The subject will be "Singing Unto the Lord," and the choir will render a programme of special Christmas anthems, solos, etc. Rev. R. Mackie will preach at Tamaherc at 2 p.m. The services to-morrow at First Church, Presbyterian, will be conducted in the morning by Rev. .1. T. Burrows, and in the evening by Sister laki, of the Maori Mission.. At Koromatua, at 2 o'clock, a special service for young people will be held and Sunday-school prizes presented. Mr Hunt will take the service at Rukuhia at 2.30. At the Town Hall on Sunday, at 7 p.m., Mrs Sansom will tell the story of her life, and the joys of service. There will also be music and singing suitable to the meeting. The Armyband will play at Hamilton East during Sunday morning. Mr T. Russell Cameron, Scottish evangelist, in conjunction with Air Woods, of Auckland, who will give mess-ages in song, will conduct the service in the Cospel Hall on Sunday. Singing will commence at 7 o'clock. At SI. Paul's Church, London street, Rev. Parker, of Putaruru, will conduct the morning service, and Rev. E. 0. Blamires that in the evening. The choii- will render special music for Christmas. At St. John's, Hamilton East, Rev. E. 0. Blamires and, Rev. Parker (Putaruru) will conduct the service, and at Frankton Mr Mason and Mr Denscm, morning and evening respectively. Throughout the circuit retiring collections will be devoted to the Methodist orphanage.
