Campbell, speaking at Ihe Church Congress, urged Ihe advisableness of diversions from the present form of prayer book- The marriage service contained much that might be left out, and the burial service might be almost entirely re-written, as it contained an almost pagan nolo of mourning, while prayers for use at sea were scarcely useable except in lime of storm.
