WHILE THOUSANDS ARE HUNGRY. DUKE OP YORK’S RESOLUTION. Receiived October 13, 8.40 p.m. LONDON, October 12. The Daily Express’ ShefOield correspondent is impressed by the Duke of York’s refusal to attend the Cutler Company’s banquet, to which he was invited as chief guest. The Duke declares that he is convinced it would not be night to be present at such a function while thousands of workiess people were compulsorily hungry. The Duke will visit Sheffield on November 4, when there will be no feasting.
