BURGENLAND DISPUTE. A PROPOSED COMPROMISE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received October 11, 9.5 a.m. ! ROME, October 10. Italy, intervening with the sanction of the British in the Burgenland dispute, proposes a compromise with 1 lungary, under which Hungary will evacuate all Burgenland except Oldenburg, which will remain a free town till a plebiscite is taken.
