After Mr Dooley had visited the Governor and hern commissioned, the caucus commenced consideration as to .whether the whole of Mr Dooleys Cabinet colleagues should be selected pr-only the extra Minister elected. I Further protracted sittings of the caucus decided to retain the present Ministers as Mr Dooley’s colleagues and elect a new Minister to till the vacancy 'caused by Mr Storey’s death. Exhaustive ballots resulted in iho choice of Mr Lazzarini. For Deputy-Premier Mr 'jkcGirr was selected and Mr Burke was chosen as the Government whip.
