The following Barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:— Thopmomaioß Friday 19 51 Saturday .... 74 5S Baromc:or. Friday 29.75 Saturday 29.75 Yesterday proved unsettled, with thunder early in the afternoon, followed by welcome rain lasting several hours. Winds were south to northeast. Barometer unsteady at 29.75. Indications arc for partly fair and party overcast weather, with occasional electrical showers; winds from north, backing later to a southerly direction and clearing. The Weather Bureau wires:—The indications arc for variable and strong breezes, but westerly prevailing. Expect changeable and showery weather. Barometer unsteady.
