Booth, £7 16s; Geo. E. Clark and'Sons v. .1. Collett, £5 7s ml; A. .1. Comcrford v. A. Pickering, £OO 13s; R. Shaw v. Schwarlfogcr Bros., £lßl Is fid; Spcmht. Pearce, N’icoll and Davys Ltd., v. N. McNeill, £fi 10s. Charges of Assault. Michael Gill was charged with on September 10, 1921, at Cambridge, having assaulted A. Lowndes. Defendant pleaded guilty and was convicted and ordered lo come up for sentence when called on within twelve months —on condition that ho was of good behaviour. and abstained from alcholic liquor. Ran Tairu was charged with having assaulted E. Dultimore, at, Cambridge, on August 22, 1921. Fined £lO and costs. Military Defaulters. Sergeant Major W. It. Gulley appeared for the Defence Department in charges against the following in connection with breaches of their military obligations;—T. D. Dunlop (Malangi), fined 20s and costs 7s; F. Harwood, fined £.7 and costs, 7s; H. it. Marsh (Cambridge) lined £2 and costs 12s: L. D. Stewart (Cambridge), lined £7 and costs 9s.
