The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from !> a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindiy supplied hy Mr James Breraner:—• Thermometer. Thursday •. ■ • 06 56 Friday i 'J 51 naroir.cter. Thursday 29.65 Friday 29.75 Yesterday was partly fair, an occasional light shower having! fallen during the day. Winds were easterly with Higher temperature. The low pressure area is gradually passing, the barometer showing a rising tendency. Indications are (or partly overcast und probably fair weather to-day and to-morrow, with winds from a southerly direction.
The Weather Bureau wires:—The indications arc for southerly winds, moderate to strong. The weather will probably prove cold and showery and the nights very cold. The barometer lias a rising tendency.
