Winds were easterly with Higher temperature. The low pressure area is gradually passing, the barometer showing a rising tendency. Indications are (or partly overcast und probably fair weather to-day and to-morrow, with winds from a southerly direction.

The Weather Bureau wires:—The indications arc for southerly winds, moderate to strong. The weather will probably prove cold and showery and the nights very cold. The barometer lias a rising tendency.
