pentier told an interviewer that his hand has been troubling him since the slight accident during his match with Dempsey, and his general state of health is not altogether satisfactory. Carpcntier, therefore, is not able to say what he is going to do. "All depends on the doctor's advice,'' he said. "When my holiday is over X will consult a heart specialist, and rny future matches will depend entirely on what he says." According to the "Auto," quoted by Rcuter, Carpenfcier intends to take i'P Rugby football when he retires from the ring, and to play under his old colours, those of the Sperling Club Uniycrsitaire dc France.
