OUTRAGE IN BELFAST
MAN SAVAGELY ATTACKED. BEATEN IN HIS OWN HOUSE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received October 5, 8.40 a.m. LONDON, October 4. Nine armed, masked men entered the house of John Bell, in Belfast. They accused him of being a special constable, and savagely beat him. Bell was sent to the hospital.
