The following Sarorweter and thermometer readings, taken from 0 a.m. dally, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:—i Tftermomator. Tuesday 75 48 Wednesday .. 74 5£ Harometer. Tuesdav 30.10 Wednesday 20.95 Yesterday was fair with north to winds, and less variation in temperature. The barometer is now below normal with a falling tendency. Indications are that unsettled weather with light rain showers will continue to-day, with winds backing from east to south, and later to south-west, and clearing after 48 hours. The Weather Bureau wires:—The indications are for easterly winds, strong to gale, and backing by cast to north. Weather cloudy to overcast Rain probable. The barometer has a falling tendency.
