Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: At Palmerston North sale on the 29th inst there was a small yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle. We quote: Forward cows £lO, springing heifers £8 10s to £2O, springing cows £0 to £l3, yearling heifers £3 to £3 Cs, yearling Jersey bulls £ll 17s 6d, twoyear Jersey bull £ll 10s. ■ FEILDING SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: At Feilding sale a small yarding of sheep sold freely, fats especially being in good demand owing, no doubt, to several outside butchers operating 1 , and the smallncss of the yarding. A good entry of dairy stock sold well, but store cattle dragged as usual. We quote: Fat sheep: Ewes to 16s Id, wethers to 18s 7d, hoggets Gs 9d to 8s I Oil, dairy cows at drop £l2 5s to £2O, later culvers £G to £10; springing heifers £8 to £l7, forward cows to £4 17s (id, empty two-year Shorthorn heifers £3 16s to £4 Is, Hereford 15 to 18-month steers (low condition) to 235, Hereford 15 to 16-month heifers (low condition) to 18s, yearling Jersey bulls £0 5s to £l4 10s, store cattle 10s to 20s.
