Sir Keith Smith, interviewed by the Daily News, said lie uoped lie and his brother would begin their proposed round-the-world flight in the summer of J9-J2. The plans and arrangements are not, completed and the route and machine have not been decided uponBesides the route, via Siam, which was followed in their Australian flight, three others were possible—firstly, via Northern Japan, but there were difficulties from floating ice; secondly, across the Pacific lo Honolulu and San Francisco, which would involve thousands of miles flight over the ocean; and thirdly, via South Sea Islands to South America, where there were bad landings. If the flight, begins in the East, the Siam route would probably he chosen.
