The Kenscikai party has passed a resolution that Japan should maintain her 2J on China, and also insist on' all other engagements that China undertook being carried out. Wakalsuki, (he manager of the party, stall’d that an ultimatum to China was unavoidable, because she had cancelled matters previously agreed to. The treaty, despite opposition abroad, was the means of preserving peace in the Ear East.
