WOMEN LEGISLATORS. Received July 29, 12.30 p.m. PERTH, July 29. In the Assembly Mrs Cowan, in moving the Address-in-Reply, attributed her election as the first woman member to Parliament because the electors felt that at times male members needed a reminder to make them realise what should be done for thft race ana home.
