DELEGATE'S TRAGIC DEATH. HAS A SOBERING INFLUENCE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received July 28, 5.5 p.m. PARIS, July 27. A delegate at the Labour Conference at Lille, after delivering a stirring speech on behalf of the moderates, in which he had to shout continually to obtain a hearing, was seized by apoplexy and died. The event had a sobering effect, and the later proceedings were orderly.
