AFFAIRS IN GEORGIA CONFLICTING REPORTS. REDS MARCHING ON BATOUM, (The Times.) Received March f, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, February 28. Reports as to the position in Tifh.s are conflicting. Georgian Government Udegrams state that il has not fallen, but the Times' Constantinople correspondent states that anarchy and pillage are rampant in Tifiis, due to Bolshevik agents demoralising the Georgian army, which latter has melted away, allowing the Bolshevik army to capture the town without resistance.
Another Bolshevik army is marching upon Batoum, on which a Turkish army is also marching. The Moslem population will certainly support the latter.
