In ihe Chamber of Deputies, during a debate on the Army estimates, the War Minister, Herr Barthou, declared that the French army at'present l*d no need to fear any military aggression. Her position would enable her cither to coerce an adversary unwilling; to keep its engagements, or defend herself against this adversary. M. Doumer declared that the ftrmy had excellent war material for 100 divisions.
