TRAFFIC IN COCAINE
IN LONDON'S STREETS, For being in possession of cocaine and selling it without being .m authorised person, a man named Jack NyaiiKin was. at Bow Street Police Courtsentenced to two months' imprisonment. A constable told how he saw the prisoner in I.isle Street, Wardour Street, ami Gerrard Street, disposing of cocaine to women of ill-repute. He handed them cocaine from a packet and received what appeared to be cash. Witness heard one of the women say to him, "Have you got any snow? Quick." A packet containing cocaine w-as found in lu's possession- He had also one pound and one 10s note and 37s in silver. The Magistrate: He seems to be mak'nar a regular traffic in tins cocaine. Witness: Tie appeared to be working for someone else. Had there not been a group of men -1 should undoubtedly have arrested one other man. He would, give no explanation, but said lie was one of the unlucky ones. The Prisoner, who pleaded guilty, was said to have served in the army three years and been wounded on three occasions.
