MANUFACTURERS' CLAIMS. LABOUR STATEMENT DENIED. (United Press Association.) Received February 26, 5.55 a.m. SYDNEY, February 26. . The employers flatly deny th« Labour statement thatVhe manufacturers are desirous of a general strike, and that an agreement exists for putting off the employees to cause unemployment. They claim that they hava done, and are doing, everything In their power to prevent unemployment or the disruption of producing power, hava loyalty obeyed the Arbitration Court awards, and are prepared now to do anything reasonable to prevent an increase of unemployment.
