At the bowling tournament, the resuit of the games in which Waikato teams arc engaged were:— Section A. —Te Awamutu (North) 22, beat Whakatane (Forrest) 21 in the seventh round; 27, beat Hastings (McLennon) 18, in the eighth round; and 19, beat Rotorua (Tapper) 18, In ttie ninth round. North won the section with 7 wins and .'! losses. Section C—Ngaruawahia (Gould) 20, lost to Mt. Albert (Jenkin) 25, in the seventh round; 16, lost to Carlton .Blair) 2i, in the eighth round; and 15, bent Karangahapc (Marsh) 8, in the ninth round. Morrison (Te Aroha) 19, be.it Grey Lynn (Whittle) 17, in the seventh round; 2i, beat Rotorua (Cribble) 17, In the eighth round; and 18. bent Rotorua (Willcox) 17, in the ninth round.
