MEETING OF THE COUNCIL.

The fortnightly meeting of the lc Awamulu Borough Council, held pi' Monday evening, was attended hy his Worship the Mayor (Mr L. G. Armstrong), and Councillors K. Taylor, <l. Uliphant, A. Young, C. Dr. Hcndorflon had also given Bis personal indemnity to Hie Borough against anv actions arising out of the present foi'mation of these streets. The Council was recommended to accept Mr Westgate’s offer to pay £l6 for eight weeks’ grazing of the Domain. As to the irregular supply of road binding material the solicitors were requested to press the Council's claim. The report was adopted. Finance. The Council passed for payment accounts totalling £3224 JOs Id.
