On Wednesday, '2nd February, we yarded about 5000 sheep and lambs, the whole of which were cleared, though not in all cases to vendors' satisfaction. Although the class of ewe yarded at Ohaupo was superior lo that in evidence at Hangiriri, prices on the whole were easier. On the other hand, lambs were much brisker, and competition was well maintained to the end. Prices realised were as follows: — Two-tooth ewes, 17s (id to 22s Od; four-year ewes, J 7s: five-year ewes, lis to lT>s '.id: two-tootli wethers, I'.is '.id to 21s 'ad: best show lambs.
