The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, arc kindly supplied by Mr James Bremnor: — Thermometer. Thursday 83 51 Friday 85 «« Barometer. Fridav 30.15 Saturday 30.10 Yesterday was fair, with variable winds and higher temperature. Tin- air pressure is gradually decreasing. The barometer has been falling slowly during the last few days, and a change in the weather conditions may he expected soon. The indications are for partly fair and overcast weather during the next 12 hours, with rain following. Winds variable, mostly from north-west. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications are for northerly winds prevailing. Expect warm and humid conditions, with increasing haze and cloudiness for unfavourable change in the weather, chiefly affecting the North Island in the beginning of the week. The barometer is falling.
