ORDINARY MEETING. Hi? Worship Hie Mayor (Mr .1. R. Fow) presided over a meeting of the Hamilton Borough Domicil last night. There were also present:-—Grs Mason, McKinnon. Tidd. Barton, Brind, Snell. Wilson and other residents of Manama Street made a similar request in regard to Iheir properties. -Ihe ap plications were referred to Ihe Works Committee. The High School Board of Governors asked Ihe Council to remove a quantity of clay on the Ward Street frontage of the section which Ihe Board desired lo beautify.-—H was decided to give effect lo Ihe request. Pomeroy and Do. were given permission lo erect a tin roof over the vacant space next lo Everybody’s Buildings, to shelter ttie vehicles stored there, pending the erection of a permanent stiow room. Applicants said they were prepared to remove (he roof at anytime Hie Council desires. —The application was granted, Cr Rafferty dissenting. Captain A. H. Burn again complained of the state in which the Horse Bazaar was left, when required for drill purposes.
