Despite a definite announcement Ilia I Mr White, a millionaire racing man, had undertaken to pay £IOO,OOO to save his friend, Sir Thomas Beeeham, from Bankruptcy, the creditors' meeting disclosed that the money was not forthcoming. Sir Thomas Beeeham is hopeful of selling certain assets himself, and was accordingly given additional time.
