Tlie following Barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:— Thermometer. Max. Min. Tuesday 86 67 Wednesday ... 71 51 x Barometer, Wednesday 29.8 Wednesday 29.80 Thursday 29.90 Yesterday continued showery, with northerly to north-westerly winds, and lower temperature. There is a slight increase in_the air pressure this morning, which is probably only temporary; otherwise the weather conditions remain the same as during the past few days. The present indications arc for partly fair to overcast weather, with humid conditions. Winds mostly northerly. The Weather Bureau wires;—The indications arc for southerly winds, backing by south to east. Weather cloudy to overcast, with scattered rain probable. Barometer little movement.
