Informations have been iald against two IJunctlin firms for alleged profiteering in connection with the sale of a piece of ladies' costume cloth. The Otago Daily Times states that the cloth was originally sold to a wellknown Dunedin firm, and subsequently resold by it to another (Inn, and these two (inns are botli implicated in the charge of profiteering. The facts are that a woollen mill sold the cloth for 7s a yard to a Dunedin wholesale firm, which in turn disposed of it to a retail house for 12s Cd per yard. The retail linn then sold the cloth for 21s per yard.
