RIFLE SHOOTING
FRANKTON VISIT CAMBRIDGE. A team of fifteen members of the Frankton Rifle Club visited Cambridge on Saturday to Are a friendly match with the Cambridge Rifle Club. The latter put a team of thirteen on the range, and took an average of their shooting for the other two absent riflemen. The. afternoon was fine with a bright sunshine, with rear right wind. The local team suffered defeat by 21 points, Cambridge riflemen's total being 1156 points; The following are the total scores of Frankton riflemen:—
Riflemen King 89, Ingpcn 85, Keep 82, McLachlan 81, Edgecumbe 79, President Lentfer 79, Riflemen Simpson 76, W. Baird 75, Perham 75, May 73, Murphy 72, Meyer 71, Wood 70, Merriman 68, Rawlinson 60. Total, 1135.
