Mr Lloyd George was entertained at a banquet by the Constitutional Club. He made a bitter attack on Mr Asquith, Sir John Simon and • other Liberals for not supporting the Government in the struggle against the Sinn Fein. They, he said, were little imitations of Mr Gladst«(»ie, who were going about denouncing gallant men as Bashi Bazouks. The forces of law and order in Ireland were entitled to the support of every honest citizen, whether Liberal or Conservative.
