CROWN'S CASE CLOSED. NO WITNESSES FOR THE DEFENCE. JURY CONSIDERING VERDICT By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, Friday. In the charge ,of murder against Tfiorn, the Crown case closed this morning, counsel agreeing that the pills found in Eyre's house were merely liver puis. No evidence was called for the defence. Mr Singer, counsel for accused, who addressed the jury at length, stressed the point that there was no evidence of foot prints or finger prints. He questioned the conclusions of the prosecution in regard to the hoof print evidence. The Chief Justice summed up at great length, and the jury has retired.
