FIRE IN CAMBRIDGE
CHEMIST SHOP OUTBREAK. About 5.45 p.m. on Friday, some of Mr Turner's employees al the tea rooms noticed smoke issuing from the back of Mr Reid's chemist shop, and immediately gave the alarm. The Fire Brigade were quickly on the spot, and found the back of the shop in n blaze. They quickly got to work and got the fire under. Mr Reid locked up the shop about 5.30 p.m., and went home. He cannot account for 'the outbreak. Mr Reid is insured in the Victoria Insurance Company. He estimates the damage al between £4OO and £SOO.
