PUKEMIRO DISPUTE. SUGGESTION FROM TIIE UNION. OWNERS TO REPLY TO-DAY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Thursday. The dispute between the Pukemiro company and the miners was discussed at a meeting of the union. Mr P. llally, acting as chairman of the National ' Disputes Committee, attended, and at | his suggestion certain proposals were | made to the company. A further meetI inj.' of the union will be held to-day, when it is anticipated that the owners' reply will be received. MINE-OWNERS REJECT OFFER. ■ By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Thursday. Mr Hally's suggestion that the mineowners agree to the selling up of tin' National Disputes Committee if Ihe Pukemiro miners return to work, has been rejected by the executive of the Owners' Association.
