Owing to the plentiful supplies of home-made butler the Multiple shop companies are retailing it at 34d per pound, and consequently the retailers nrc refusing the Government allotments of butter, which are mostly blended and inferior to Hie home-made The trade anticipates an early reduction of the Government retail price, probably to 3 Id.
