NEW AEROPLANE WINGS
D AN IMPORTANT IMPROVEMENT. (United Press Association.) ■ SYDNEY, May 12. In connection with Hie recent cabled improvements in aeroplane wings, a Idler has just been received in Sydney from Mr Handley Page, which states that the improvement will result in the production of small aeroplanes costing £l5O to £2OO, -hous-able in premises no bigger than coal sheds and usable for week-end journeys of 500 miles. The development will enable a machine witii a- span of say 100 feet to reduce ils area lo 30 feet and yel relain the same carrying capacity. The same will apply to all .classes of machines.
