MUNITIONS FOR POLAND
DOCKERS REFUSE TO LOAD, " (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received May 14, 12.5 a.m. LONDON, May 12. Thames dockers refused -to complete loading aeroplanes, guns and ammunition on the steamer Polly George when they learned that they were destined for Poland for use against Russia. The owners agreed lo discharge ihe munitions and accept only general cargo, and Ihe dockers then resumed.
