They remind me of the famous London. make we used to get. ” “Y e s, indeed, said one of the ladies present, “the flavour is quite new to mi—so delicately alluring. I have been trying to imagine how you got it.” •‘An accidental discovery,” said the hostess. “You would never guess.’’ “Oh. do tell tie,” chorused the ladies. < “Well I thought I would try an experiment, and I added a spoonful of Tucker’s Custard Powder to my usual recipe. That is all.” In response to further pleadings the lady wrote out the recipe for her friends. Here it is:— Two cupfuls of rolled oats, 1 cupful of sugar, Jib butter, 1 teaspoonful of Tucker’s “Family” Baking Powder, 1 tahlespoonful of Tucker's “Sunshine” Almond Custard Powder, 1 tablespoonful of flqur, and 1 egg. Bake on greased tray. A large tin of Tucker’s “Sunshine - ’ Custard Powder costs a little more than other brands, but it contains more, and is very much better value.
