VISISTORS TO SAMOA.
BY MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT. AERANGED FOE MID-FEBRUARY. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Cabinet has decided to proceed with the Parliamentary visit to Samoa, and telegrams are now being sent on behalf of members, inviting them to take pari. The steamer will leave in the second week in February, and the trip will occupy about 30 days. Invitations are being issued to members themselves, but not their wives. It is not expected that the Premier will be able to accompany the party, but Sir Jas. Allen will go. It is hoped to arrange for the Trade Commissioner to accompany the Parliamentary party. The High Commissioner of the Pacific desires a conference between the trade representatives of the Dominion, and the Fijian administration, and this will probably be arranged at the same time. The selection of business men to act as trade commissioners is now under consideration.
