Cr Barton said that a good portion of the survey of the.old borough had been carried out from time to time and concrete blocks put in msrking out the portions completed. Surely it was not necessary to go over this work again, for a standard survey once made should stand for all time. The matter was left to the Legal and Finance Committee to make enquiries from the Survey Department as to whether a new complete survey is necessary.
