The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken .at 9 a.m. daily, and weather indications, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner: Thermometer. Max. Min. Monday 72 58 Tuesday 73 59 Barometer. Tuesday .* 29.90 Wednesday 29.90 Yesterday was fair, with light rain falling during the night. Winds were westerly. The barometer is steady. The indications are for fay- weather to-day, hut probably cloudy to-morrow, followed by unsettled weather, with winds from a northerly direction. The Weather Bureau wires; The indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong, with a southerly tendency. The weather will probably prove squally and changeable, with scattered showers. The barometer lias a rising tendency.
