M. Bourgeois is to preside at the first meeting of the League of Nations on January 16. Mr Wallace has informed Mr Wilson that the date fixed enabled the League to be formally summoned in any case with or without America. The League will shortly be in working order. M. Glemenccau inquired of the representatives of the chief neutral States, whether the latter wished to become members. Received January 14, 1.40 a.m. WASHINGTON, Jan. 13. Mr Wilson has signed the call for a meeting of the League of Nations.
