FRESH AMALGAMATIONS FORMED. (United Service.) LONDON, Jan. 8. Tlu? Daily Express says that the trust fever reached a climax yesterday with five amalgamations of chemical, glass and insurance firms, with a total capital of £24,000,000. Powerful combines now control the shipping, engineering, shipbuilding, cotton and motor industries. LONDON, Jan. 9. It is announced that Guests, Keen and Nettlefords, Ltd., are acquiring a controlling interest in John Lysaghts, Ltd.
