AUSTRALIAN NAVAL STATION

NEW BOUNDARIES FIXED. (The Times.) Received January 12, 7.40 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 10. It is officially announced that the revised eastern boundary of the Australian navjjl station follows the Meridian 160 degrees east of Greenwich from the Antarctic Circle lo the Equator, with a slight extension further east about parallel with 30 degrees south latitude, and includes New Guinea, the Hebrides, Solomon Islands and Bismarck, but excludes Fiji. The northern limits follow the Equator, and cross New Guinea, then through Torres Straits and the Timor Sea to the Indian Ocean. The west is bounded by the Meridian 80 degrees east longitude.
